Artist Trading Cards for Japan

Warm Up: 
Write about a time that someone did something nice to you that made you feel better. 
(Remember to write this in paragraph form.)


Artist Trading Cards for Japan


Last week at the beginning of our spring break we were meet with a global tragedy when Japan experienced a devastating earthquake that was followed by a tsunami and a threat of nuclear meltdown of its nuclear power plants in the prefecture of Fukushima.


This week we are going to create small Artist Trading Cards, or ATCs, that will be sent various people in Japan to set at the memorial sites in Japan to give our condolences to the country and its people. 


You can use whatever medium you want on the cards provided but remember these are to show our condolences to the people so things like flowers and words like "I'm sorry for your loss" are most appropriate.
