Warm Up: 
Now that you have started to learn about the ancient Kente cloth, tell me how patterns can be used to tell a story about us with our clothing? 
Remember to explain this is in full paragraph form.

GLE; 
The students will create a kente cloth pattern using collage with construction paper. 
Today's Mission: 


DRAW!

Taking your sketch of your kente cloth, draw out on different colored pieces of construction paper your patterns for your kente cloth. Tomorrow you will cut these pieces out and begin to assemble this collage onto another piece of paper.
