6th grade: Calling Andy Warhol! Clean up on aisle Cylinder!

Warm up:

As you begin your pop art piece, describe the process you are using to create the picture. How have you changed it? How is it similar to Andy Warhol's art work?


Vocab:
 
Rhythm: Repetitive visual elements that achieve a specific effect.
 
Andy Warhol: First began his career as a fashion illustrator. 
 
Motif: A repeated pattern, often creating a sense of rhythm. 
 
Today's Mission: 

Students today we are going to start to transfer our cylinder pictures in the style of Andy Warhol onto our surface for the week. Remember to pay attention to this week's demo on creating the text on a round form.
