Cross Hatching: A form of shading that uses intersecting lines to create value, mass, and volume.
Value: Showing light and dark in a piece of art work.
GLE:
The Students will create a rendering of hands illustrating shape to form relationships while demonstrating a variety of media to distinguish light sources using Pen and Ink while studying the artist artist M.C. Escher and his work Drawing Hands.

Today's Mission:
We will finish our hand drawings from the image you choose yesterday that is seen below. It uses our forms and shapes of the week through out the image.
Make sure to pay close attention to the review of the demo using the medium of the week, pen and ink using hatching and cross-hatching, so you can understand how the image is supposed to be made so you can do the same yourself.
