Pablo Picasso - Still Life with Cherries


Warm Up : 
Sketch: A picture that uses all cubes.

Vocab:

Cross Hatching: A form of shading that uses intersecting lines to create value, mass, and volume. 
 
Value: Showing light and dark in a piece of art work.

Pablo Picasso: was born in Spain but later moved to France.


The Assignment: 

GLE: 
The student will create an interior space piece in pencil using square forms.They will look at the artist Pablo Picasso and cubism to gain an understanding of square 2 dimensional forms.

Today's Mission: 
We will begin to add our final touches onto our image. Make sure to take your time and remember to follow the shape as to figure out how to shade the image. 
 
Make sure to pay close attention to the review demo of our weeks' medium, pencil, so you can understand how the image is supposed to be completed so you can do the same yourself.
